secure payments
Payments via my website, are processed using a secure credit & debit card payment system, provided by paypal which protects you as the buyer (click here for more info). I do not hold or have access to any of my customers' card details. After ordering you will receive an automatic email confirming the details of your order. I will then email you again with a delivery time and also the day iI post your order.
Alternatively, you can transfer money direct to my Peak Princess business bank account or send me a good old fashioned cheque made out to 'Peak Princess'.
delivery times
I cut, make and finish each dress myself individually by hand and can only keep a limited amount of stock. Stock numbers on the website reflect the amount of fabric I've currently got in, not dresses which are made up.
Clothes that are in stock will be posted the day following receipt of payment by first class post (Monday to Friday).
Please remember these dresses are handmade (and it's just my two hands) so made-to-order clothes will take longer but I'll email you straight away to let you know when you can expect to receive your order and if you're not satisfied I promise to reimburse you.
I usually take orders 2 to 3 weeks in advance but try to be flexible.
When you order it's helpful if you can let me know if there's a deadline such as a birthday or christening.

£4.50 on orders from £20 up to £99.99
free UK delivery over £100
Orders are sent by first class recorded delivery in the UK which requires a signature.
If you'd like next day delivery please contact me to arrange an additional payment of £3.50
international postage rates
Europe - add £5
USA/Australia/Asia - add £8
Rest of world - add £10
International orders are sent tracked by Royal Mail Airsure or International Signed For if Airsure is not available.
gift wrapping & gift vouchers
If you'd like your order to be sent to a different address from your billing address just email me after you make your online order.
All my girls clothes come wrapped in pretty pink recycled tissue paper and cellophane bags (or blue for boys).
If you'd like to include a special message or if you'd like each item in a separate bag just let me know.
I'm happy to email or post gift vouchers for any value - call or email to order.
no quibble returns & refund policy
I'm sure you'll love your handmade clothes but if you're in any way unhappy then please contact me within 28 days of receiving your order.
Being a micro business (it really is just me designing and making everything) I'm afraid that if a package is returned because of any other reason than faults or mistakes on my part I'll have to charge for redelivery.
Of course if there's a fault or if I've sent out the wrong size or style then providing you've returned the faulty goods I'll either send out a replacement (without charging p&p a second time) or refund the full price plus p&p.
Please use recorded delivery (first or second class post plus 74p) as proof of postage when returning goods as i can't be held responsible for items lost or damaged in the post.
Please contact me before returning the dress, explaining what you're returning and why so I can arrange an exchange or refund as soon as possible.

Please note that I'm happy to exchange dresses for others in my size range, subject to fabric being in stock, but bespoke alterations will incur an additional fee.

So I can let you know your dress has been posted and that it's arrived safely and to make sure you don't miss out on future offers I keep customers' emails and contact details, but I don't share these with anyone else. If you'd rather I delete all your details just let me know when you order.

I do not and do not intend to store any of my customers' financial details.
